Archaos

About Us

This web based archive was conceived in 2010. Archaos Circus existed in a world where the internet was not yet being used as it is today. As a result the mountains of press coverage, stories, images, and film generated by this legendary circus can’t be found in one place.

In September 2010 ex-member of Archaos held an exhibition on London’s South Bank where old clowns, images, film, and stories were brought together to honour memory of Archaos Circus. On the back of the exhibition money was generously donated by ex Archaos members and Friends of Pierrot to archive everything online. Without the generosity of those listed below bringing this site to fruition would not have been possible.

We still have ongoing costs to host the site any money raised after we cover our hosting fees will be forwarded to The Entropik Association (which is documenting and archiving the work of Pierrot - for details look under the Pierrot pages)

So if you were inspire by Archaos and would like to help you can do so via the donate button at the foot of this page, anyone who donates will be added to the roll of thank you's with a link to your wbesite.
